A Mother’s Day Out Program

Our goal at The Children’s Place MDO is to provide a safe and fun learning environment in a Christian atmosphere for children. We offer a one-day or two-day program and our school year runs September to May with holidays scheduled according to the DISD calendar. We enroll students as young as six weeks old all the way up to PreK. Currently we have a total of nine classes and over a hundred students enrolled. Our classrooms and hallways are roomy, bright and inviting. Our church facilities have a spacious cafeteria and indoor recess gym as well as two newly finished outdoor playgrounds. We provide a structured Bible-based, developmentally appropriate program with emphasis on social, emotional, spiritual, physical, academic, and artistic growth. We not only teach academic concepts and seasonal lessons, but we also teach Bible lessons every day. Here at The Children’s Place we pray that the children in our program would grow in their relationship with the Lord.

“…we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord….” Psalm 78 “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me.’” Mathew 19:14

We strive to teach the WHOLE CHILD,  and we would love to have your children here with us!

Throughout the year The Children’s Place has fun themed dress up days, a visit from The Creature Teacher and Decatur Fire Department, holiday parties, garden days, PreK field trips, weekly Bible and academic lessons, nature walks, children’s ministry days with DCOC, Miss Jane’s Music Play visits, end of the year splash day, meet the teacher, as well as Christmas and end of the year programs, and so much more!
